When I looked at this coin, my mind immediately shot to a die chip, but when I scoped it, it just looked weird. Is this a Die chip, or something weird lol.
HuH?? Ohhh, that little 'ole itty bitty thing?? If that's all you have to worry about today then Praise the "Person" above... or wherever they are...??
Not a plating blister, IMO. Here it is blown up. Looks like debris but whether it was struck or not is in question.
Tbh I also thought debris for a second, but I wanted to ask here bc I' haven't seen things like that on a wheatie before lol
It could be a bacteria, but only Thiomargarita magnifica is large enough. They are not metallic however. Jim
It was just discovered and no known variants. Actually it "display unprecedented polyploidy of more than half a million copies of a very large genome, and undergo a dimorphic life cycle with asymmetric segregation of chromosomes into daughter cells. These features, along with compartmentalization of genomic material and ribosomes in translationally active organelles bound by bioenergetic membranes, indicate gain of complexity in the Thiomargarita lineage and challenge traditional concepts of bacterial cells." Eddie, horse pills? Augmentin !! Mayo says "Remember that this medication has been prescribed because your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects."
