    Bunch of PMD but still a silver with a 10.2M Mintage

    Damaged. Still a piece of silver, though, as the cow mentioned.

    It's definitely a keeper. As for the condition, from the grainy surface, looks like someone cleaned it with a sand blaster after it had sustained the gouge damage.

    But not everybody knows what is and is not damage when they are new to the hobby.
