I already have the 1921 Morgans from the S, D and P Mints all in MS63.

I also have the 2021 Morgan & Peace Dollar set in MS70 for all 6 coins.

Today I won the last piece!

    A 1921 Peace Dollar!

Hmm apparently some 1921 Peace Dollars are NOT high relief. o_O

I do wonder why some slabs designate the high relief and others do not. I know the mint had striking issues with the high relief, bit I too thought all 21s were high relief dies.

Maybe there is a requirement on exactly how “high relief” the coin has to be?

Like how PL, PR/PF, and DMPL are all different levels of proofness.

Congrats on getting the desirable 1921.
I still need the 3 keys to complete my XF/AU album. Present prices on the series have me on the sidelines. I should have bought them years ago ;)

Ah yeah I know what you mean. I just figured prices might go up even more so I might as well get it now xD

I got it for $10 over CDN wholesale price & $350 under PCGS price guide price though so I feel it’s a good deal for a semikey date coin.

I bought my only 1921 Peace dollar back in 2015. I paid $380 for it from Witter Coin. At that time, I overpaid a bit. With the recent skyrocketing of prices for 1921 Peace dollars, I’d say my coin proved to be a good investment. I wish I bought more 1921 Peace dollars in the past before prices became crazy.

Besides my 1921, I also have a 1928 Peace dollar. The only key date I’m missing is 1934-S.

Speaking of Nerva denarii, here is my example of one:

Nerva. 96-98 AD. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.23 gm, 6h). Struck 97 AD. Obv:. IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TR P II COS III P P, Laur. head of Nerva to right. Rev: CONCORDIA EXERCITVVM Clasped hands. RIC 26,RSC 22

There is always a prettier girl at the ball. Oh well, seems to always be the case on CoinTalk. Here is mine for the set:

I tried to buy the 2021's from the Mint last year only to be blocked out.
I haven't tried even looking at them since because of the valuation increases.
APMEX wants $573 for am MS70. ack.

    Beautiful!! <3
That must be the D? The D is by far the most expensive because it’s the “key date” and had far less 70s than the rest.

But in 69 it’s like not much above the Mint price like the rest of them.

Because I have spare PCGS 70s of the CC, P, S and O and I would sell all of them (individually not together) for a couple hundred under $573.

Indeed nice...and much better (to me) than a 62, as is also the other PCGS MS62 posted, although can't see it as well. Congrats!

Thats a beauty you got there Daniel!

I’ve read some have a satiny finish like mine and others have a more lustery finish like yours.

Yours is def a slider though! I can totally see it in a 60 holder.

There were striking issues with the 1921 Peace Dollar, but all 1921s are high relief, whether designated or not.
