In acetone. Pulled from a roll a few days ago. He's not in the greatest condition but this was a fairly dramatic change lol.
Overall, it does look better but it may have lost some luster, or could be the lighting. The gunk is gone.
The most current one I came across in my pocket change was about a month ago. And it was in bad shape unfortunately. But I'm still holding onto it.
Actually...the obverse had almost no luster and the reverse really had none. Now you can see the luster extremely well in hand, in the photos the luster is from about 11 to 4 o'clock on both sides in the "after" pics.
