George has a dent in his head!

    Found this Washington while searching Quarters. He has a "dent" running from about the 6:00 position up to 12:00.

    After looking it a little closer he might also have a Die Chip on the Mint Mark. I may have to get it out and put it under the coin microscope.

    Your 1983 quarter has been in circulation for almost 40 years and taken a lot of hits and damage. I don't see anything but PMD with a possible filled P MM.

    The crease on your coin that you make note of could/may have been caused from being struck though grease. Even if proven it was a struck thru coin, there would be no premium added due to condition. JMO.
