my prediction mintage for 2010 ASE and AGE bullion unc one ounce are as follows: 2010 bullion ASE unc one ounce - 32,000,000 2010 bullion AGE unc one ounce ---- 950,000
Elaine: So you've changed your prediction a little. When asked in February (2/28) you were last at: And early on at the beginning of the year, 1/5/2010, I had stated: So what made you increase your estimate for ASE by 5 million ounces over the last month? but no change for AGE? I'm sticking with my guess as quoted above, but it seems you and I are pretty close for 2010 production (mintage) right now. :high5:
remember. we are always close. as for increases. i am a little doubtful on the ASE. maybe i should said between 27 to 32 millions.
krispy. have you sell anything before to MCM?. how you compare apmex and MCM?. i think apmex is a very big company. while MCM only sell very few pieces of each kind.
I hope this doesn't change the over/under; I put 20 on AGE Under and 10 on ASE Over when AGE was 950,000 and ASE was 27,000,000.
Elaine: I have not sold to either Apmex nor MCM. I have only purchased from these dealers. I wasn't even aware until today that MCM made direct offers to buy coins from their customers. It seems highly unusual and maybe a first for them based on the 2008s AGB. Perhaps they are hoping to take in some inventory at better than cdn prices... Perhaps MCM really foresees a chance to profit from other collectors whom they can immediately resell these coins to, or maybe they are looking to get more raw coins graded for their inventory... They might also be highly anticipating these coins will significantly rise in price for sale later on.
