The seller had relatively little experience with ebay, and had his seemingly life support funds being held/frozen by ebay.

The coin I bought was the only Caced coin he had in his collection of estate sales objects.

I felt sorry for him, and hoped my purchase might reverse his attitude/habits.

The Paypal employee knew I had an absolute credible case of fraudulent action, but was required to request a defendant/seller statement, and wait, as I

When I contacted paypal at the day after sellers final Seller response date, they immediately started the lengthy refund process.

I needed the documented experience to supply others who may want to initiate a class action.

The future actions were predictable with the current ebay/paypal arrangement.

It's difficult for me to get a clear picture amidst your way of phrasing things, but a few things stuck out from your latest post.
Did the seller say or imply this in his coin ad or subsequent communication? A plea for sympathy is a big red flag for me. It's the oldest trick in the scammer book. It's sad when it might actually be true, but you have to keep it at arms length. You're buying a coin, not somebody's kid's cancer treatment.

Another trick. I avoid anything that says "estate find" in the title or text, like it's some rare discovery that you can benefit from. Every coin is in somebody's "estate." It's meaningless drivel.

Big mistake. Sorry I'm so cynical.

Everyone has their history, and it's believed that most are successful because of others.

I knew he was telling the truth because of others that have gotten trapped by ebay/paypal, which I verified. He was very honest with me, which will probably be substantiated by court subpoenas for employees and documents.

If you knew the name of his business and his listings, you'd know he settles estates.

I believe/know that ebay/someone had his possessions, and likely didn't return them, so that he couldn't deliver to me.

If you had been around here long enough you may have gotten caught in a listing trap as many are today with the powerful two taking as they please.

In the past, you would have heard of Hugh who really got taken by another powerful company who promises but takes as it pleases.

I've been successful because of being raised with only that given to me as negotiated charity.

I've won, because life taught me Honey is more palatable then B.S..

I now primarily perform Pro Bono efforts for others willing to learn rather than B.S..

I teach that the expense of learning reality with others is less than formality education.

Gosh, you bought a coin, paid for it, and he never shipped it. And somehow ebay/PayPal/tooth fairy are the boogeyman in this story. That's what I glean from this, sorry. You got scammed, you got your money back, move on.

^^^ Times a million. I couldn't follow the flow of anything in this thread. Cryptic? I think cryptic would have been like reading Dick and Jane. This was more like a WWII enigma cipher.

Nothing like a seller in the states when you can get an address. It can make the wheels go around much more quickly.

I bought a coin from a seller who seemingly/apparently had hocked his assets, but sold same on ebay/paypal who froze his sales funds. Paypal, when forced to be involved, eventually refunded/paid me.

The seller called me, after receiving my refund, offering to sell me the coin direct.

Legally, to support "benefit of doubt", I accepted and paid him again for the coin.

It appears that he hadn't gotten his ebay funds, or assets released, using my new coin payment funds to survive.

You have seen others post in my thread their stories of similar problems with ebay/paypal.

I was directly privately notified by many others who also had their funds seized.

None of those contacting me wanted anything from me, just, I believe, to help anyone who recognizes their problems, and starts legal efforts against these powerful companies.

It's common for the uninformed naysayers who haven't been effected, to ridicule victims, so I understand/accept your view.

This is as simple an explanation that can be told.

My lengthy treatise-like post would be understood by a jurist, when presented aside the factual evidence and recorded official comments, in a court action.

    Thanks for your supportful comments!

NO, nor did I expect, as part of "due process", to prove appreciable damages to many, and average ridicule.

One with highest State S.A.T. score, with abnormal I.Q.,
who anticipates the next question and supplies an answer that would meet court requirements.
