    All -

Apologies these are the best pics I can take, but this one's a head scratcher for me. It doesn't look like PMD, but can't find a match with any RPMs.

Am I nuts and just being hopeful that it isn't PMD?

Pretty hard to tell with all the crud around and so/so pics,at this point if that's the best you can do i'm going with a die chip. https://www.error-ref.com/die-chips/

It could be an RPM, but you will have to match it on variety vista or somewhere else to make sure.

As said, it could also just as easily be a die chip.

The op already stated that they couldn't find a match going on the websites.I tried myself and also didn't find anything, thought some looked right, but with all the crud e.t.c its a wild goose chase.

I'll go with PMD. It could be circulation damage, a hit that has been scuffed over with wear.

Not nuts, but a unique hit or chip.

Thank you all! Appreciate the feedback, hadn't even considered a chip. The hunt continues!

Correct, the coin die was struck with the Punch for the origin ( Denver) . If there was a lot of coin dies used in a location/year , the punch die could develop a chip and due to size not be noticed. IMO, Jim
