Does anyone on this forum know anything about this coin? Any pics? I'm bidding on one on ebay right now but the cash flow is a bit light. We'll see what happens.

Very nice copper french denier. Compare with my 2 coins. Keep in mind they are different. However, on flo-market in my city it costs 15 zlotys = $7.50.

I bought a couple a while back. I don't know a lot about them. My understanding is that they were French coins circulating in Canada/Northern US in the 17th century. I'm more a US collector (18th century onward), but can't resist an interesting coin when one's available.

Very nice coin. It"s value about 80 Euro, I think ("cos quality is very high!)
