OK guys, This should be fun. I am going to purchase a 55 DD. I am leaving it up to you guys. The one that gets the best results, I will buy. Coin Dealers, Ebay or whatever. The reason I would like to do this is, there is way more knowledge on this board than I have. My luck, I would buy a copy. So while you are looking around, help me find the one?? I will start with this one. It is a raw coin and scares me. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330400176252&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
"1955 Double Die Obvious"- I would pass. They can't get the name right, they don't deserve the sale. Not a professional opinion on my part, just my personal bias.
Here is another I have talked with the seller about. The rim looks rough? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200440210578&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
http://www.hlrc.com/coin_list.aspx?ct=3 Harry Laibstain has a 1955 DDO in a PCGS MS63BN holder with a CAC sticker for $3k... might be worth making a call if you have to buy one today? They also have a 62BN listed for $2450, but it doesn't have that MS look to it in my opinion.
