who wants to be christopher columbus?

    Ok fearless masters of all that is pinball change in my world.so im realizing that my vision is seriously deminishing as is what lil coin knowledge i posess.so while im taking pics of loose change i find this.its a ,2000 d dime or is it? If you look around the rim on the obverse theres all kinds of faint lettering and you can even make out the word trust and a date like on a nickle.any ideas?thanks gents

    I hope that worked look at the area that has the scratches behind the head.after some thought i wondered if possibly someone was trying to demonstrate some kind of engraver like for rings on the coin?
