Yes, they do, see photo. But they are totally different in feeling and look. They are very rigid and I'm unable to bend them if I stack them whereas the 300 other Saflip packages I've purchased were not like this at all. They look slightly different and feel totally different which makes me highly suspicious. One could easily get the Saflip packaging and seal with cheaper materials. But I will not say for sure if this is true.
These are the new ones I purchased. Packaging looks legitimate but the feel and look of the Saflips is totally different from the 300 other Saflips I've purchased. I haven't recieved an email back from the company that makes Saflips nor the company I bought them from.
Been doing this but decided to save 10 dollars and it turns out the Saflips are different. I'll stick with Wizard from now on but I'm hoping Kointainer can look into this. They might be older Saflips but that's just speculation.
I do exactly the same. Saflips are great! Sealing them with electric bag sealer is a nice feeling and they can fit in folders and binders. I used copper wire and didn't see any green.
Can you expand on this? It's possible Saflip changed the composition of their Saflips recently? maybe I received older Saflips, because they do feel like they were very rigid and stuck together but this was not a problem with any of the past Saflips I've purchased. They slipped right off each other. Then there's the horizontal lines in the Saflips. They are barely there but you can see them and they did not exist in any other Saflips I've purchased.
the batch i have seem stiffer then previous packs and the welds look a little off, but I have had no issue useing them (have had this pack for about a year used about 1/2)
Suggest you mail a couple of each to whoever you feel is the legitimate manufacturer and see what they can tell you. Mark them according to what you have noted. I have read that pthalates are toxic material, suspected of being carcinogenic.
