I found out about the 1972 Lincoln Cent errors and I have a super hard time determining if a coin has doubling. Unless it is really easy to see. I had my grandson go through a jar of pennies (Cent's) and pull all the 72's out. he found about 30 so I took them and looked at them under my coin microscope and found a couple that might qualify. I just don't know. help?

Look for the B in LIBERTY to be doubled ever so slightly straight up and down. Let's see the motto, especially the W and U. These pics aren't showing you got one.

In God We Trust would help. That how I determine mine. Photos are good. Motto will tell ya.

There are a number of varieties involving doubling for this date. Most of them are minor but one of them is worth big bucks but then you don’t need to check to see if you have it because you don’t.
