Which of these other methods (besides PayPal) are you signed-up for? None, I will bet. * PayPal * ProPay * Moneybookers * Paymate * Credit card or debit card processed through the seller's Internet merchant account And neither are 99% of the other buyers on eBay. What's more, these other sources of online payment charge about the same fee so there is little point in trying to evade the PayPal trap. Last time I checked, the currency in my wallet clearly states "Good for all debts public and private" --unless, of course, I am conducting a transaction through eBay in which case I am forced to hand over 3.5% to their banksters whether I like it or not.
Guess what - Look up the legal definition of "debt". You will be surprised to find out that absolutely no one is required to accept any form of cash from you when you want to buy something. There are more than one thread in here discussing this in detail.
I know there are sellers that state that they won't take PayPal and to call their toll free number and use a credit, debit card, money order, personal check or some other way to pay for the item you bought. NO PAYPAL. On ebay, I always use a credit card so I have some recourse if thing go awry. I almost always pay through Paypal unless it's a known CT member. I've never had a bad buying experience with CoinTalk members, ever. I'm buying more and more through CoinTalk members. Bruce
