I was just thinking it would be cool to see other people's coin based (or other) Instagram. I made one that I'll be adding to until I have my whole collection up. My Instagram name is coins_of_usa Post your Instagram handles, I'd love to see them.
I'm on there. Been working on posting more frequently. My name on there is the same as here @jtlee321
I just made one: Coinstacker38 I have barely ever used instagram. And I still don't know what the point of it is besides sharing/viewing pics. But that's ok. I have room for more coin pictures in my life
Lol, I was just on and followed you back, nice coins! Also, there seems to be some decent dealers on there, it might provide new sources.
I have a U.S. type set, you can see them in my gallery below: https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=7351
Thanks, they're basic budget examples, but they're better then anything I ever owned as a kid in the 80s and early 90s. I'm content with them. My dream coin when I was little was always the Pillar Dollar. It was a few years ago that dream came true. Oh to travel back in time and hand it to my young self just to see the look on my young face. That's pretty cool. When I was a kid in the 80s I thought it was great to have some VF Buffalo's and Induan Head Pennies. We've both advanced, but you're a couple steps ahead of me.
Here is my review from 2019 https://www.cointalk.com/threads/my-journey-to-a-new-frontier….338978/ I'm still there and posting under @u1toning
Thanks, I have to really like the coin to buy it. I'm a big advocate of buy the coin and not the holder. Even the old holder's I have to like the coin. I did see you "Like" a whole bunch of my posts. LOL Thank you.
My Instagram page is almost entirely about coins, with absolutely zero selfies of myself. I guess I’m not the stereotypical narcissistic millennial/Gen Z person. Occasionally I’ll post pics of the food I eat while on vacation. Unfortunately, I don’t have an interesting social life so my page is mostly devoted to numismatics. I used to post on Instagram quite often. Nowadays, Instagram is an afterthought to me. Here is the link to my IG profile: https://www.instagram.com/mr.monkeyswag96/ When I started my IG account in 2016, I mostly posted pics of my US type coins. However, my last few posts were of Roman coins due to a shift in my numismatic interests.
Pretty cool page, I hust have to remember not to look if I'm already hungry. You seem Tobe the type of guy that other people say "I'll just have what he's having"
