Damage or Lamination?

    It looks like a crazy lamination to me with that die break connected from the rim,the reverse appears to be a small crack.

    Lamination Crack. Nice example.

    There was a flap once where LI of LIBERTY is.
    Looks like someone bent it and snapped it off.

    Thanks Paddyman98. I was gonna put it back into circulation. I felt a little disappointed posting it after reviewing it. Never found a Lamination Crack.

    Definitely a lamination error and I would keep it as such. Common or not, I find them unusual enough to collect them along with my other coins.

    It may look like a damaged coin but it’s a lamination error and it’s a beauty.

    Thanks everyone for confirming this error. Never would have known. Sure wished I would have asked for more customer rolls. Found this cent, 7 wheats and a 2 sided wheatback from 1 roll

    ya know whats funny i have lincoln wheat cent like this has a nearly lamination peel.
