I am 100% sure now that it IS the coin I won at auction... I don't know what they did to their pics or scan but I'll let the pic's speak for themselves... I think she will still get hit for cleaning but not nearly as harsh as the sellers pic's made it seem... I'm very happy with this coin
sellers original pics... are the gold colored ones... the other set the "color corrected" set i did...
I can understand your hesitation to believe it's the same coin. Your pic showing the mm looks like there's a hit on the D. The sellers pic doesn't show that same hit. I will say that your pic is definitely not hi res. Can you post another clear pic of the mm? Or at least confirm what I've referenced?
Your reverse shot has the light coming in from 9:00, parallel to the hairlines. Shoot it again with the light coming from the top or bottom. I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at the coin. Nice!
That's crispy! Congratulations, yeah the cleaning is obvious on the reverse, but you've got an MS Details beauty right there. That's sweet!
the D is clean The "D" is clean on the coin that is shadow in my pic (I actualy double checked lol) I will try for some better pics a little later... getting too much assistance from my feline companion at the moment
My instant impression of the first photo is that someone was trying to fool us with a fake coin. No way does that coin look real. Hope it does in hand.
