    Let me explain...
I need to purchase several LCs for my slabbed type set
the later dates Coronetes (braided hair/matron head) are availble in decent high grades at reasonable prices even for a cheapskate like me but holy heck anything 1814 or earlier is through the roof for anything with a clean grade above F12 (and even those below going 100+ for the most part)
I just can't pay those prices when nicer coins availble "raw" for 25% or even 10% the cost of the slabbed coins.. It's gonna happen now.. I could honestly pay out for 2-3 coins+ grading costs for less then what's being asked/paid for one of the slabbed coins.... Hmmmm might just be a good way to turn a profit lol.... Sorry if a bit rantish but when you see coins selling for 300 bucks that look worse then similar coins in the $20 LC set, I just CAN'T bring myself to pay those prices....
On the flip side might be fun to raise my usual LC price cap to find some real Pretties :D :D

The classic head LC’s are known for their low quality copper, hence the high prices for ones with decent surfaces.
