Rick, it pains me to see another person close to me with digestive problems. You all know I've had my struggles with my Ulcerative Colitis and Acid Reflux, and I hate to see people go through that, or something more serious, such as what you are going through.
I hope you have a good surgery tomorrow, and hope you get better soon

 

My daughter had a lot of problems with that when she was young. Heart rending, for sure.

The happy ending ? She got tested for food allergies and voila all is well ! We just avoid the bad stuff and she's 100% !

All we had to do was draw blood and send it off to a lab. A few days later, we had the results. Beautiful !

 

I am not so sure about that blood testing bit. Now that we can test for everything, I have found out that we have now given my daughter diabetes, cholesterol, heart problems, colon cancer, arthritis, colitis, and IBS just so far or the chance for them. And then there are the poor grand-kids. They get both sides of the family.

My fellow colleagues, thank you for the well wishes. I am home and up and around today. I must admit that I do not feel well due to the procedure.
I am sure this will get better as the days move forward.

I am happy it is over with for now..I will find more out on this coming Monday.
Liquid diet for 5 days and meds...I will not bore you with the details but was told my outlook is a promising one, this I thank God for..and the wonders of modern medicine.

Thought I would post a note and will be around a little more in the days to come I hope. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers.
