Anyone know what this is?

I was going to guess Japanese because of the 2 "mums" - but it is only a guess ...

japan 1 sen 1916-24, I don't read Japanese good enough to tell the exact date.

 

THANKS!! Now that I know what it is - I was able to even find one on ebay and other shops - looks like it doesn't have a specific date - but can't tell - obviously not too valuable either...LOL

Dated Taisho 11 (1922). Your second picture is upside down. The first one doesn't show on my computer so I don't know if it is properly oriented or not.
