Egypt 20 piastres 1917H - grade and value?

    This is KM322 - 1917H, it is scarcer that 321. On other forum says that it is EF, CV$150 but I can not see other similar on the net...

    I would grade it closer to XF, but with rim problems i don't think it is worth anything close to catalog. Couple years ago, a $75 coin. At the moment, probably closer to $35 or $40. Just my opinion of course.

    On Ebay these are selling for between 20 and 40 dollars. A EF example went for 35.00, that's probably pretty close to yours.
    BTW, Those coins have beautiful calligraphy, They have always been a favorite of mine :thumb:.

    I will say VF, the rim has many problems on both sides as well as two indents on the obverse.

    Here in Egypt it would cost around 150 Egyptian pounds (about $27 US), taking in consideration that it is sold outsidw Egypt, so i will add $5-10 US

    So between $30 to $35 US is the value

    Just my opinion :)
