How much?I see a two is it $20? that's basically melt so if so definitely go for them.If not I would say $50 or less.
If I could find a place to sell these at $50-100, I'd sell every set I've got. From what I've seen, they carry very little premium over melt. I wouldn't buy at $25, but I think it's a fair price.
Ok now I know why the prices were so high.It gave me results for the 2022 sets only, they always have a premium when new.Seeing others sets they sell within the $20-$30 range so not a bargain.
My motto is: See it. Like it. Can afford it. Buy it. Period. I never buy any coins to sell, I bought them because I liked and enjoy them, so don't really care what the BIG current value is.
The 1999 is the "better date" for these silver proof quarter sets. My LCS once had the set of five at $40 total, all toned as well. After a couple weeks they gave up and threw them in the junk silver bin. Would have snapped them up if I could make anything off them, but after Ebay fees and such I'd be in the red, so I didn't buy them.
Yep. I think I bought my first 1999 set for something like $80 when they were regularly going for $100+ on eBay -- and that was down from around $400 at the peak. I don't expect I'll ever make my money back on it.
same here, the only ones that I'll ever make money on are the ones that I won at metal detecting hunts
