at 40k likes CN posted his septian geode.. now he's celebrating 53k... my woman saw how much I liked his and ordered one on "wish" for me... Not nearly as nice as @Collecting Nut's but I'm happy
Welcome to the world of rock collecting. Don’t know if you already were or not but it is a lovely specimen. Another hobby that is full of fun and enjoyment and no matter what, you always fine one more that you must have.
Oh I love it and yeah not my 1st specimen by a long shot... I didn't think It was that long ago I posted my Prasiolite and Citrine specimen.. this one is just as big a prize for me... and unlike the prasiolite (also known by "cactus quartz") below the geode doesn't bite lol
Take my wife she's a rock-star, a rock of ages, a rock-a-by baby, and most of all as "Hard as a rock." OP, CN is pretty special isn't he thanks for sharing your acknowledgement.
I'm not into antique coins and other type of items. First, you pictures were good, but I have no idea what you bought. A description would be nice. When I was 17 and just graduated from high school, I went to Rome and took a tour. I saw a loose stone/rock that I thought was nice and stuck it in my pocket. I didn't see the sign when I came down the Apian Way that said not to pick up anything on the road. Luckily, I didn't get caught as I found out they will prosecute you and let you stay overnight in their jail. I'm 74 now and I seldom pick up anything that is not mine.
