    Maybe kinda cool for $3-4.00. Checks are collected. There is a group dedicated to it -- the American Society of Check Collectors. Most checks without significant vignettes will run a couple of dollars at best (unless there is a famous signature on it). Most revenue stamps are very common (every check had to have one during and after the Civil War) so that does not add much value, if any. There are more scarce revenue stamps, however.

    Why anyone would bother to TPG something like this is beyond me.

    Only other possibility for it is the bank was very short lived? that would give it a rarety value, but as far as American cheques go it does seem to be rather plain

    Thanks guys I mainly stick to coins but for a few dollars I think I'll buy a nice one. (maybe a cool signature or design) thanks!
