    Hello everyone,
Last week on Throwback Thursday #9 I showed a 1C struck on a Split Planchet that split before the strike.

Today I have 2 examples of 1C that the planchet split after the strike.

I posted these slabs of the Reverse Half in March 2017

This one is better. No Details grade.

    Love 'em.

Those "lonely" striations are beautiful. (No devices from the dies on them.)

Over the years I looked for an Obverse half but the 2 or 3 I found were always overpriced :sour:

Just curious, were these found in the wild or slabbed after you found them?

Hi. I purchased them already attributed by NGC.
But I do have many that I sent to NGC over the years to have attributed.
