I do, I do...but more the African variety...not so much the indian/Asian. I read once that African elephants aren't trainable, at least in a trustworthy, domestic sense...reason why circus and other elephants used for domestic purposes are only of the Indian/Asian variety. Was watching an old Tarzan movie the other night and had to laugh at the fake African ears (extended prosthesis) attached to the ears on the bulbous Indian elephant's heads, along with fake tusks that you could see dangling/moving back/forth, to simulate the African variety in Tarzan's jungle. A couple of Indian/Asian elephants in this nice collection but most are African...of/from African sources, etc.
My daughter’s dog loves them. She brought Odie back from So. Africa. He has been around them a lot. He’s a Dingo
That is a beauty and nice grade too. It is on my want list way down the road. Thanks for sharing it. Envy is thee word.
Looks like it's in the garland on the obverse. I forgot I had this one, gift from my late father-in-law over 20 years ago. I love the original Thai 2x2 in the king's yellow. 1 baht Rama V without date (1876-1900), long tail. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces24084.html
