Went to my dump bank last week, and as I was making my deposit, I noticed the teller had a bunch of shiny new quarters. I asked about them to. and she said she got them out of the new box they got last week. She showed me one and it was a Sally Ride Quarter. I asked her to sell me what she had, so she did. She also looked to see if she had any of the new rolls left ( she didn't). Anyway, as I was on my way to work, I just took the envelope of quarters and stashed it in my console. Forgot about it until today, and just looked through them. Do my Surprise, they were all Sally Ride Quarters all right but they had the D mint mark! Very unusual to find D rolls here in Florida! I wish she would have had some left! It was one quarter short of a full roll.
Congrat's!! It's a nice coin if we had some Pics. Oh, that's not the only thing short of a Quarter short of a full roll. (kind of like 1 short of a full deck) Just joking. Had to say it.
Was able to go to a different branch of my dump bank and scored 3 rolls of Sally Ride D mint quarters. I feel much better now! Lol
