Advice On Authenticity

    I just bought this on e-bay from someone who lists their address as Austria, but just as I won, I notice they are in Bulgaria...a bit of a caution light lit up and I thought I would ask here if this is an authentic coin or some type of counterfeit:

    I suppose I am like most others. If it comes from Bulgaria I regard it as a fake.

    Indeed. I am sure there is a good coin or two from Bulgaria, and this looks OK, but it's always a no no country for me to buy from.

    It looks pretty good to me. Bulgaria is the source for a lot of fakes, but a lot of them look pretty obvious, or are very high grade rarities that would be risky to buy anywhere but from an expert. Your coin certainly has a great, "ancient" look to it. If it is a fake, it is a very good one (unfortunately).

    Yeah, I'm like that particularly from Morocco and Cyprus.
