Nice photos. I don't remember them looking that attractive when they were issued. They are actually quite nice.
A few months back I bought an 1875 Carson City 20 cent piece (lower grade) to go with my San Francisco and Philadelphia pieces and I opened it, admired it and tucked it away in a safe place as I was rather busy with work at the time. So it’s not in the first four places I’ve looked and darned if I can remember where I put it. Ah well, it’ll be fun to see it when it turns up.
