Entry Post - Thanks, railguy for the excellent prize. Having collected World Coins for a few years, I have put aside all of my Canadian coins because of the sheer volume. Earlier this year I started cataloging them and appreciating the beauty and variety they represent. I would love to add a proof set to my collection and this one looks amazing!

I knew this site would get more entertaining once Lord Marcovan returned, and it has!

I think most coinage is too many Kings and Queens, not enough critters, This seems to be the best of both worlds. Thanks Canada! Although I still think the beaver gets shorted. After all, you could credit the founding on the "New World" almost entirely to beaver pelts. Little known fact, they are among the tastiest of red meats as well.

A functional family makes me very nervous. This one here is just what we need!
