My friend's parents has this 1867 canadian coin that I can't find anywhere online. I don't have a picture to upload so i'll describe it. The obverse has three maple leafs with one of those 'maple key' things, that look like helicopters when they fly in the air, on the bottom left. The reverse has the coat of arms with the crown on top and the lions on the sides. The date is split on either side of the coat of arms with the 18 on the left and the 67 on the right. Hopefully one of you guys knows about this coin.
No Canadian coins were released for circulation in 1867, so dont think its a coin. My thought is, it is some type of medallion (even commerative) celebrating Canadas conferation into a nation in that same year.

You have a confederation medal, we all received one in 1967, as a previous post indicated there were no Canadian coins minted in 1867.
