    Congratulations! It's a beautiful example. I am afraid that I have none of the Muse coins, which I think are generally the most expensive of Republican denarii prior to the Imperatorial period.

POMPONI/MVSA; Urania, the Muse of Astronomy, wearing long flowing tunic and peplum, standing left, touching globe set on base with a wand held in her right hand. Ref: Crawford 410/8; Sydenham 823; Pomponia 22; RBW 1488. Near Extra Fine, flat strike on reverse, attractive old cabinet toning. Ex CNG 57 (4 Apr 2001), Lot 952.
