Great collection! Several years ago, I was awarded a set of MB Burgandy color with gold trim. 1. Ball point and 2. for lack of better terms a rolling writer. They have been in my desk for about 15 years. Tried to find them on MB web site but could not. Semper Fi Phil
Though it's not really a hobby, as you can tell by the photo, cat's are my main focus in life. Here's a shot of Julius and Truffles hanging out. They're the best.
I used to collect stamps and for many years kept up with new U.S. issues. At some point, I realized that I was only getting the U.S. and U.N. issues to send a trading partner in Australia, and I started saying that when he died (he was older than I was) I would stop purchasing the new issues. Not long after I started saying that, I got a message from "down under" telling me that my buddy had dropped dead while mowing the grass of a friend down the street. And that was the end of my stamp collecting. I sold all the better stuff on eBay but still have some albums left with stamps in them. I keep thinking that I'll go back to selling them but somehow don't get around to it. My wife collects jewelry, and she just got a new ring sent by FedEx today. A long time ago, she discovered that a great place to get some bargain jewelry is at coin shows and now she's eager to accompany on my trips around the bourse. She knows that if she catches me when I have just bought an expensive coin I'll be more receptive to her latest jewelry discovery.
Very nice. I take the "C-8" means it's an 8" reflector? I myself like scuba diving and also go the gym for weight-lifting regularly. Also reading biking and paddleboarding.
That's really cool. I love fossils to and only have a few. But I have so many hobbies it's would just be another money pit. Really cool. My mom told me a much older cousin had a collection of WW1 items and when he died, the wife asked various museums if they wanted it, at the time it was all no. So, it all went in the trash. Made me sick when she told me and I was about 10 years old.
