In your opinion, how much money should I set back before I start hanging up fliers? I want to be fair in how much I pay (3 to 5 cents each for bulk coins) low graysheet value on singles based upon condition. As I accumulate coins, I should be able to keep the money flow going by seling.
Mr. Wheatz, I have quite a lot of wheat Pennies left to me by my Mother. They are sitting in a desk slowly turning green even though I try to keep them separated from each other. If you have any specfic dates you are looking for & I have, you are welcome to them for free. I hesitate to give E-Mail address or phone # , but my user name here is LEE.
Around here it varies from 1.1 to 1.5 in bulk And bulk is anything over 2 wheaties. I would recomend a thousand dollars minimum, I did that when i first startedcollecting. That was about 8 years ago, I was 12 years old. Made quite bit of cash before ebay came in and rained on my parade.
Wow. Wheats at the melt price of copper. Why am I wasting my time asking the Safeway people for rolls of "pennys". It'd be a heck of a lot more fun to go through rolls of wheaties for a small premium - plus I wouldn't have to sort out the post-1982 cents! Sweet-wheats: I know nothing of lincolns, but aren't we on the backside/downside of the lincoln craze? Be careful, my friend.
I think that the wheats will level off a bit but still increase slightly over the next few years. It is alot safer investment than sportscards where values can drop overnight due to something stupid the guy did.
if your looking for an investment I ahve the 1916/16 ncikel and 1942/1 D dime Theyre great, they just keep going up and up.
