Not really sure what you are after. It looks to be somewhere around VG, but you cannot really grade it without seeing both sides. The scratch would possible keep it from being graded at all and is that a chop mark in the back of his head?
I really can't be sure but it looks like a "D" mintmark. The person who wants me to buy it said it was just a 1914. I think that it might be just a mark on the coin and appears to be a little small. I can not determine if the die crack is also there
If you really think it is there, it ought to be cheap enough. Buy it. However, if you are seeing what I think you are, it is in the wrong place.
