1,290 Cache of Constantinian LRBs Found in Switzerland

I don't know if this story has been posted already but I just stumbled on it in the latest edition of Smithsonian Magazine, for anyone who may have missed it . A metal detectorist found these coins in a clay pot near the Wildenstein Castle. I envy you CT members who live in Europe .

Agh that is incredible. +1 on the jealously of the Europeans.

I was reading earlier today on the ancient coins sub Reddit... a guy from Gloucestershire, UK was looking for attribution help because he found some roman coins in his garden lol. Nice coins too.

 

This one has been found in Syria. Still jealous of people living there?
