Greek ancient coins expert opinion

Hi! I recently bought this small coin (diameter: 5-6 mm, weight: 0.23 g.) The smallest one in my collection so far.


The seller didn't identify her. After searching acsearch, I found that some of the listings described it as Cilicii hemiibol and some described it as Lesbos. I think this is a tetartemorion. Personally, I think that the coin is from Lesbos: representation of Athena almoust identical to the coins from Lesbos (more archaic)

I think it's this one, attributed to Soloi. As you said, in Cilicia.

Yes it is this coin, I doubt this is a good attribution as described above.

Hi! I received this answer from Ancients Department Numismatic Guaranty Company:

"We took a look at the coin and we agree that it most likely isn't from Cilicia. The fabric of the flan and style of the design seems to be quite different from SNG Levante 48 and similar coins.

However, we were also unable to confirm if it was from the Isle of Lesbos, but we agree that the style seems to better reflect that attribution".
