I thought I would let everyone know of this set that has come available if they have an extra $22,000 laying around. I was just going to go dig some jars up from the back yard but then I decided it would be more fun to get them one by one.:D
If anyone decides to buy them, I want a finders fee. :high5:
Yall have fun looking at the coins, I know I did.

And that boy's and girls is why you don't crack out good slabbed coins to put them in a book. Search for Illini's story is another great example.
    Much harder to sell them!

The seller is Mr. CPA, an accountant, I bet he added the values from the redbook. He has 'make an offer', I'm thinking of offering 2000.

I'd be shocked to see that set sell,, especially when someone could put a similar or better set together at the same price (still in holders). Those tags are just toooo easy to fake, or to swap out a coin with a real tag....... would be surprised to see that sell for anything too far off from half what is being asked.

If he takes your offer of $2000 then I defiantely want a finders fee. :D

Well the key's are not/were not graded.
The auction seems laid out well.
So he might get a nice bid it is ebay.
    I'd like to know though.

But worthless pictures, only one of the keys pictured and not well. He estimates the SVDB as a 64, I'd estimate it as a cleaned AU (funky color)

Did anyone notice his 1913-S. In the first list it is a 65 RED. That is a $4000 coin. In his second list, it is a 63 BN. That is a $200 coin. On way of the other, that is nearly a 20% error. BTW, from the pictures, it is not red.

Seems like the kind of item you'd want to see in person before you buy..

I wonder why all of those big money coins are not slabbed (I wonder)
