Barbara Stanwyck in the 1950 version of "No Man Of Her Own" showed her early in this movie at the phone booth. The call required a nickel. When nobody answers, she retrieves her Buffalo Nickel and returns it to the 12 cents she had in her pocket. You can clearly see the Mercury Dime and two Wheat Cents, one up and one down and the Buffalo reverse. I was glued to the movie and up late. I give it 4 stars. ****
"No Man of Her Own" Seventeen cents The film was based on the Cornell Woolrich (William Irish) novel I Married a Dead Man published in 1948. In the book the woman describes the four coins: "An Indian-head penny, a Lincoln-head penny, a buffalo nickel, a Liberty-head dime" Also in "Coins in Movies": https://www.brianrxm.com/comdir/cnsmovie_nomanofherown.htm
