Out of 104 foreign coins that I’ve received in change, rolls, etc. only this only was silver. A few looked it but they were minted after Canada stopped using silver in coins. This is a 1945 Canadian Silver Dime. It has a rim ding at 4:00 o’clock on the obverse and with the color, it looks to have gone through the end of WWII. No matter, it’s .800 silver.
I used to get a lot of odd silver coins in my "World coins by the pound" but with silver prices going up, the dealers are gleaning all silver out, so any silver is a good find.
