I picked up this Athens? Obol the other day 8mm Dia and 0.8 gm, and notice the owl seems to stand a bit more upright than most I've seen, Athena's head not well placed on flan doesn't give many clues. can anyone attribute a date and catalogue number please.
I don't know much about obols, but the style of the open end eye on the portrait suggests 4th century BC and possibly an imitative coin.
it looks like it could be Athens. After 449 BC. AR Hemiobol. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, SNG Cop 59.1, not sure, needs more detail
