So what's up guys, I had the pleasure of going to New York today. which I have not done since I was a kid for enjoyment purposes that is. So yeah I went to Stacks and Bowers it was Soo awesome. I took pics like a fan boy... So I purchased a stock silver round, I also picked up 8 catalogs.. and I stared at some of their books it's awesome guys when I tell you it was awesome it's awesome so I posted some pics I didn't take any video but you know it was cool enjoy.. You're welcome honestly it's been so long there the old Puerto Rican security guard that they have there I don't think he works there anymore I don't honestly know either way but you know it was cool just being back there it looks nice I mean it's what I want for a lounge type thing bunch of display cases my awesome library which now has nine new books to add to it and you know a couple of lounge chairs and the TV I think it was really cool
I had the good fortune to visit the 57th street store over a decade ago. I felt especially welcome even though I wasn't spending a fortune. Picked up a few good books, too. Glad you showed the books. I do remember that Stacks used to have a good collection of quality books. I checked several years ago and they seemed to be down to a minimum. I called and asked if there were more somewhere on the website and they said they were working on it. Looks like the work has been done!
