Pretty neat shield-shaped display board with 41 old silver commemoratives at Great Collections for auction closing April 10th. Has the Isabella quarter and Lafayette dollar, but unfortunately doesn't have the Hawaiian, Spanish Trail, or the Vancouver commemoratives, which are three value biggies. Anyone seen this type of display board of old silver commemoratives before?

Reminds me of Capital Plastics displays I've seen but they typically have the company name on them.

Beautiful! I love that the Isabella quarter is at the crest of the shield.

It must have been a custom made holder with coins the collector didn’t have left out.

Makes me feel inadequate when I "only" bought these today . . .

That works out to $181.07 per coin; from the looks of the expanded images at GC there are quite a few that have great original luster and they all look to be in very good shape. I would say that the Buyer got a bargain, and the Display Holder is a fantastic bonus.

I also felt the holder was cool, which is why we left it as such. (Normally we would grade the coins and then auction them individually). The condition was mixed, but still really nice to see them all together in that capitol plastics' type holder.

That was a very cool display and I'm glad GC left it intact!
