Interesting thought occurred to me that coating toned coins would prevent them from further toning.

Well, yes until you wanted to sell it. Do you remember LasVegasLawyer? ( had an alligator as his image? Once sent a 72/72 I believe or close to try and remove an
epoxy coating? I looked at it over and over and tried. but eventually figured only a torch might help But there was no tarnish on the coin. One should mostly live with what they have or sell and get another. Probably still a part of some one's collection. Jim
