I just received some stuff from a friend whos father died. He wants me to figure out what he can sell this stuff for. Thanks in advance.
If possible larger pics would be of help to determine a possible grade and also to know the series of those 1928 $2 US notes.
Post images on Photobucket (free accounts) then place the image URL in the post here. How To Post (upload) Photos
Yes, that's better. You might also try placing the image url in the body of the post enclosed in img code wrapped with brackets []. Another selling point for those notes are the consecutive serial numbers. Very nice. The OPEN section of CT allows you to list items for sale once you get ready to sell things.
Nice run of 1928Gs. Are they all CU, because they have that look? Figure about $80-120 a note in choice to gem condition.
These are in perfect shape. I have been chatting with a guy in my state. He has been teaching me some stuff. If I look up at these at an angle I can see some incredible embossing. No folds anywhere. These look like I just got them at the bank. Pretty neat.
Thank you. So if I want to sell them I should ask say $750 or so for the 10 consecutive? Maybe $250 for the 3? Sound like its a good deal to a collector?
You could consign them to HA.com if you are unsure... just a thought, but the process will take a while to finish up, so if you are in a hurry to sell, maybe list them yourself on eBay, eBid.net, the forum OPEN section, et al.
I am going to list them here. I know that ebays fees are crazy. Seems you have a good collecting base. PLEASE READ THE FORUM RULES. Thank you guys for your help:thumb:
