That is pretty sorry of you to do that just for fun. I have had that happen to me and I too have dropped the ball on them when the price got too high. Karma bites don't it?

This is just my opinion and not meant to be insulting BUT have those of you who intentionally "run up" bids ever considered others? Perhaps those CT bidders? To me it is just selfish.
