Wonderful coin. Fun fact - a few bags of UNC 1859-O and 1860-O dollars were found during the Treasury releases of the 1960s. Circulated bags apparently had other Seated Dollar dates as well. Most of the UNCs are heavily bagmarked and grade 60 or 61, giving them the nickname "Quaker Oats" dollars, as if they had been shot out of a cannon. What a beautiful 130 year old hunk-O-silver. Lovey coin LordM and I am sorta partial to those seared gals anyway.
Ok, I also have a very crusty xf 59-O. I'd much rather have this than a bright shiny baggy MS from the treasury releases (but will not criticize those who collect them). sorry for the abraded slab. Lord M's coin is a terrific example with just the right "look."
