Just a quick post. I've been CRH today and the last roll, the last penny and the fourth to last penny made it all worth it. A couple of 1972's with strong secondary horizontal bars above the primary bar of the 2 in the date. Not sure which one's, my eyes are going. I'll check in the morning.
    Thanks: Lou 47.jpg 48.jpg

The 72 w/o the scratches looks to show a slight misaligned die.

I'm not familiar with this. Is it a variety? Please explain the significance of the horizontal bars. Does it signify doubling? Thanks

Yes it does. The 1972 Lincoln's have multiple DDO's. These are minor but finding two of them in one roll, crazy!! Check out copper coins.com. http://www.coppercoins.com/advsearch.php

I think you found one. Or two. Glad for you. I’ll be convinced if I hear from mr. frog

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be hearing from the frog :(
