Wow, I am so happy I have acquired the last piece of a little puzzle of fractions, slightly maddened I encountered the rumored great paywallofchina, but I needed this last piece (top coin in the photo). I will be lazy here and only announce references (below the photo) cause I have a very busy week ahead, just wanted to share this. Wishing everyone a great week! RRC 25/3, RRC 26/3, RRC 26/4.
Sorry for not responding sooner. This is a truly stunning set! I wanted to wait and see if I was to catch my prey before posting... and today at Naumann I did ANONYMOUS. Half litra (Circa 234-231 BC). Rome. Obv: Head of Roma right, wearing Phrygian helmet. Rev: ROMA. Dog standing right. Crawford 26/4. Condition: Very fine. Weight: 1.42 g. Diameter: 12 mm. I really enjoy the different look of early Roma vs what later would be her standard template on Republic denarii And you've inspired me to attempt the set
Gorgeous half unit there Ryro! Perfectly centered and of a finer style than mine! And not a single pit that will be visible in eye (all of these fractions look worse magnified!) Congrats!
Tiny marvels (Last unit has not arrived yet) Also noticed through the macro how dust you just swept of the Abafil case looks like in my palm
