1974 CANADIAN 50 CENT COIN

    I have a 1974 CANADIAN 50 CENT Coin that is gold in color rather than silver color. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

    Note: Image does not show how bright and golden it is. See comp. next to 1968 Clad Quarter below.

    It was given to my wife by Canadian family members years ago but that could be a possibility as it can be picked up with a magnet. Thanks!

    It's 100% nickel, nickel is ferromagnetic

    It is always helpful to show both side of the coins posted. You may have a tribute coin, but without seeing the reverse, one can't tell.
